iOS 14.5 Jailbreak Status: The well-known developer @XsF1re announced the successful jailbreak of iOS 14.5 using the checkra1n jailbreak tool on Twitter (PongoOS).

We may use the checkra1n tool to jailbreak Apple's iOS 14.5 according to that. The official checkra1n Jailbreak Team updates official news about iOS 14.5 jailbreak compatibility and releases an updated version.

You can jailbreak iOS 14 - iOS 14.5 with the checkra1n jailbreak v0.12.4.

iOS 14.5 Jailbreak Supporting Tools

Apple device users that use jailbreak techniques for iOS 14.5 can only access Apple's apps, games, and other software through the Apple Store. You can't install apps that aren't available in the Apple Store on your iPhone or iPad.

Preparations:

  • A USB flash device that can be booted
  • Rufus 3.13 can be downloaded here.
  • Ubuntu 64-bit download
  • Checkra1n is a 64-bit version of Checkra1n.

Step 1: To begin, download all of the files that must be prepared.

Step 2: Insert an empty USB flash drive into your computer's USB port.

Step 3: Open Rufus and choose the Ubuntu ISO file you produced earlier from the "Boot option" menu.

Step 4, then finalize the boot device creation by following the program prompts.

Step 5: Restart the Windows system and keep pressing "F12" to access the BIOS settings.

Step 6: In the menu, choose USB as the initial boot option. Save your changes and restart your computer.

Step 7: Now that the Ubuntu system is loading and running, start the Ubuntu OS and then click "Try Ubuntu."

Step 8: Open Terminal and look for the Checkra1n jailbreak program you downloaded.

Step 9: In the Terminal, type "chmod + x," then drag and drop the "checkra1n-x86 64" file into the window, then press "Enter" to continue.

Step 10, in the Terminal, type "sudo," then drag and drop the "checkra1n-x86 64" file back into the window, then click "Enter."

Step 11: After entering the password, you can start Checkra1n.

Step 12: The methods for iOS 14.5 jailbreak with Checkra1n are similar to those for jailbreaking iOS 14.5 on a Mac; you can refer to the above steps to finish the jailbreak.

Unc0ver (Without a Computer)

Preparations: 

Unc0ver IPA can be downloaded here.

Step 1: Download and install unc0ver from the aforementioned URL on your iPhone.

Step 2: Select Settings -> General -> Profile & Device Management from the drop-down menu. To trust the jailbreak application, pick "Trust" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Launch the unc0ver App, select "Jailbreak," and wait for it to finish.

Step 4: Once you've successfully jailbroken iOS 14.5, Cydia will appear on your home screen.
